An event of Biblical proportions...

So after discussing the pending end of the world with our dear follower Christina, I wanted to share an interesting idea that she brought up. Perhaps, since all the signs point to a catastrophe of gigantic proportions that we should build an ark in addition to/perhaps instead of an underground bomb shelter. She is planning on building a large, floating spherical object that is designed to withstand wind, water, lava, and earthquakes. I am inclined to believe that this is a good idea, because if there were to be a large flood, the underground bomb shelter would be in a predicament, especially if it was not 100% watertight.
